On April 16, the company was registered and the first sales office for air and railway tickets was opened in the very center of St. Petersburg.
Nadezhda Koshnenkova headed the company, betting on long-term development prospects.
5 ground-based ticket offices have been opened in locations accessible to customers. A team of professionals and like-minded people has been assembled.
Understanding the needs of travelers, the range of services offered was expanded and the AeroTour travel agency was opened. During the first year of the department’s operation, more than 300 tours were sold, and the people who bought them became our regular customers.
Accreditation with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which provided access to air ticket content on flights of Russian and international carriers.
Joining the Transport Clearing House (TCH). Membership in TCH made it possible to enter into trilateral agreements with airlines.
AeroTour, a leading sales agent, has become the official representative of the national carrier of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Uzbekistan Airways.< /p>
AeroTour has launched its first website for searching and booking air tickets - aerotur.aero.
Opening a subagent department and launching an online project Agent.aero.
Successful experience in selling tour packages has shown the demand for services for organizing corporate trips and MICE events. AeroTour has created a corporate services department. Creation of an online project AeroB2B.ru.
Having proven itself to be a reliable business partner, both in St. Petersburg and Russia, and abroad, AeroTour received an invitation to become a member of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Industry.
Joining the Russian Union of Tour Operators. The title of tour operator allowed us to organize our own tours to European and Asian countries. The emphasis was placed on creating original excursion tours to Uzbekistan.
Expanding the staff by creating our own team of IT developers made it possible to make a technological breakthrough and carry out the first API integration with the Lufthansa Group.
Implementation of direct integration through the API of Aeroflot, Pobeda, Ural Airlines and others, bypassing reservation systems, made it possible to obtain air tickets at the lowest cost.
We were able to increase sales volume and exceed them compared to the “pre-pandemic” period. More than 1,500 air tickets are booked daily on AeroTour websites, and this does not include the B2B segment!
AeroTour is recognized as one of the fastest growing metasearch systems for selling air tickets in Russia and for international flights.
